It's great to be part of Plant Hertiage, the charity which awards and supports national collections of plants. It's something I do voluntarily as Collections Coordinator for Warwickshire and South Staffordshire supporting and looking after the relationship with National Collection Holders in my area. I was really excited to be invited to contribute to a podcast inspired by the garden Plant Hertiage are taking to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year. This will be a unique opportunity to talk about the importance of protecting our plant heritage, ensuring garden worthy plants are preserved for the enjoyment of future generations of gardeners. The podcast was great fun - it's always good to talk plants with fellow enthusiasts!
